About The Show
War of the Worlds was a groundbreaking collaboration between three regional theatre companies
Young ensembles from Arena Theatre Company in Bendigo, Riverland Youth Theatre in Whyalla, and D’Faces Youth Arts in Renmark simultaneously performed a new version of War of the Worlds to a local audience. Playwright Fleur Kilpatrick created a tailored script for each town, combining local and streamed scenes to bring this unique production to life.
Scenes from each town’s performance were live-streamed to the surviving young people in each town, as they share information and work together to survive the alien invasion.
