Arena puts young people at the centre of everything we make – performances, programs and experiences across stages, schools, studios and communities. We believe in the power of live, embodied experience to build confidence, creativity and voice.
We’ve been doing it since 1966.
That means professional shows built for young audiences, artists embedded in schools through residencies, and workshops and development projects that make space for young people to create and experience wherever they are.

Arena’s education work starts from a simple belief: young people aren’t audiences in training – they’re collaborators, storytellers, and creative thinkers right now. We bring artists into schools and communities through residencies, workshops, and development projects where the process matters as much as the outcome. Every project looks different, because it’s shaped by the people in the room.
