Hidden Creature Gallery
An Interactive Augmented Reality Experience for Children.
By Arena Theatre Company
About The Experience
Hidden Creature Gallery turns any space into a world of discovery. Children use their device to hunt for creatures hidden in plain sight, scanning markers to reveal animated beings that come to life right before their eyes. Part treasure hunt, part art experience, part digital adventure.
An Augmented Reality Experience for Children
Children don’t just find the creatures — they make them. In our workshops, kids design and animate their own digital beings, which are then hidden for others to discover. The gallery becomes theirs.
What Kids Take Away
Creative thinking, visual storytelling, digital confidence, all built through play. Hidden Creature Gallery is designed to be joyful first and enriching second.
Creative Team
Hidden Creature Gallery is developed and delivered by Arena’s team of artists working across digital media, design and performance. Every creature, every hunt, every workshop is made with the same care we bring to all our work.
Bringing it to Your Space
Hidden Creature Gallery can be installed in schools, galleries, parks and community spaces. Arena works with each partner to tailor the experience to the setting, from intimate school visits to museums and large-scale festival activations.
Workshop and/or space activation using photography, motion capture, animation and augmented reality.
